The seal coat material is an emulsion that protects the asphalt from harmful UV rays, weather, grease, oil, and other harmful agents. Slurry Seal is a sand mixed with asphalt emulsion, which is then spread onto the road pavement.  Slurry Seal extends the life of the pavement approximately 4 to 5 years.  Slurry seal has a longer life expectancy than seal coat. Because it is thicker, slurry will cover up irregularities in the pavement.

Chip Seal provides a beautiful alternative to asphalt. First the tar is applied to the base, and then the gravel is applied. Once the tar is completely covered with gravel, a roller is used to firmly press the gravel into the tar.
With Chip Seal you can personalize your project with colored stones, shades of brown, light grey, and red.  Chip Seal surfaces typically last 10-15 years but can vary based on several factors such as climate, traffic, and base. Chip Seal is virtually maintenance free as there is no need to seal coat. Chip Seal can be up to 50% cheaper than asphalt.

Cracksealing is the placement of materials into non-working or low movement cracks to reduce the infiltration of water and other materials into the cracks. When done properly, cracksealing can extended the life of your pavement. By sealing cracks in your pavement you prevent water from entering, sand and rocks from making their way to the surface, minimize crack growth, and help stop new cracks from forming. Treating the problem areas while they are small is the key to proper crack filling. Crack filling pays for itself by delaying expensive asphalt resurfacing.
